Riverina Oils Harvest Update

We’ve had run of good weather over the past 10 days which has seen a steady flow of trucks without too many bottlenecks impacting truck turnaround times.

Generally speaking, our suppliers have been slow to get onto their paddocks in the morning due to the levels of soil moisture with so many rain events this year and morning dew from lower overnight temps than normal.

This steady flow each day has seen us catch-up on our pace from the 21/22 season (despite the delayed start) and the fastest pace that we’ve filled a bunker which has required a big effort from the Logistics team and harvest casuals. This has seen us close Bunker 1 on Friday the 2nd December and potentially fill Bunker 2 sometime this week.

Outside of the faster pace the Logistics team have been managing a variety of challenges (mainly caused by weather) as well as been a part of some great wins. We’re hoping the blue skies are here to stay and wish everyone a safe harvest season!
