Scott Reardon
Paralympic Gold Medallist & Coach
Scott Reardon
Paralympic Gold Medallist & CoachScott Reardon is one of the greatest Paralympic athletes in the world. Before he was a sprinter though, he was a 12-year-old digging holes at his family farm in the NSW country town of Temora. Standing on the frame of a post hole digger, Scott had a serious farm accident, causing him to lose his leg.
Scott says his optimism as a child is the reason, he became so successful–seeing his accident as an opportunity to do remarkable things just as an able-bodied person could. Scott officially retired from his Paralympics porting career in 2021.
Scott understands the rigors of farm life and the importance of high performance making him an ideal ambassador for Riverina Oils. He is also working with our team to inspire and help us understand the power of the mind.
